Uses at lot of curved forms; angel and cherub figures; high relief carvings that result in a dramatic interplay of light and shadows; twisted columns; gilding everywhere; crystals; upscale natural stones like marble & granite; expensive fabrics such as damask, velvets, brocades; use of mirrors. Furniture leg form is primarily heavy, square and tapering. The style of origin of many other glam styles.
