Moroccan / Moorish Style

Moroccan / Moorish Style has most of the hallmarks of the Bohemian Style, dominated by other characteristics particular to that region. Morocco’s location caused it to have mix of Islamic, Mediterranean, European & African influences. Distinct elements are: pointed & horseshoe arches, onion domes, surface decoration with arabesque & geometric patterns. Metals & leathers are used. This style is colorful, patterned & maximalist. It almost always looks very luxurious overall, if not over-the-top.
